GEORGY TAKES OFF |

Georgy Simba begins her modeling career with a bang.... Georgy Simba was quick to form a tight bond with her much older cousin, Leah Simba. Leah featured the young and very stunning cub in her runway shows designed for teens and held in the late afternoons and evenings of the weekends. She also featured Georgy’s photo, stylishly arranged and pointing up her great lustrous hair (and eyes which revealed a sexuality beyond her age) on billboards and in magazine ads for JAGGERS. Georgy Simba was a real looker and that was for certain. It presented her father with many restive moments when he wished he hadn’t paid heed to Leah’s request and his wife’s urgings. Georgy Simba was on a roll. Sloane Simba was not the only one worried about Georgy. Her mother, his ex-wife, Caitlin Cougar Leo, was furious with Sloane for having allowed it to happen. She needed badly to retrieve her home on Leoparde Drive from Chris Simba and take Georgy under her roof once more. Georgy had added to the destruction of her mother’s marriage to Homer Leo. She was living with her dad now and unsettling his - not a hard thing to accomplish in light of whom Sloane had wed.
Chris Simba had left his wife (another marital disaster with wicked aspects) in the Leoparde Drive home and rented one of Lewis Lyon’s fashionable new units in his recently erected apartment complex. Now Caitlin had to deal with the hinky, finky Johanna Delacroix Simba, who refused to vacate having retrieved the lease and realizing that Chris had lied to her as to the validity of such. Meanwhile, Georgy was making Sloane’s life miserable demanding to move into an apartment with her cousin, Imani Lyon, whose father had allowed her to lease a small two bedroom in his brother Lewis’ new structure. Of course Ashley was paying the rent but then Ashley could well afford it having gone in with his current partner, Luke Leoparde, in building another gigantic Leoparde-Lyon Safari Club in the now bustling Serengeti in Tanzania.
Pete Levin, the new lion president of Tanzania, was getting lots of flack from his constituents. "Why are all these damn animals from Kenya coming and setting up businesses in our country? Why are you allowing this to happen?" asked a leopard who was in his cabinet. "To teach us how to do this thing, Paul," snarled Pete. "They’re not teaching us anything....just getting rich off our backs," growled the leopard. Pete realized he was right and raised the ante to 20% percent of the profit from Kenyan businesses in Tanzania. This didn’t make any difference to those as rich as Lewis Lyon, Wally Warthog, Ashley Lyon and Luke Leoparde as well as Roy Lee Simba and Bertram Baboon. Since the Kenyan branch of the multi billionaire Leoparde family has its roots in Tanzania, it was a simple matter for Luke to incorporate the new Safari Club in the name of his brother who still lived in the Serengeti, reaping the full profits for himself and Ashley Lyon - oh, and a small cut for his already rich brother. When Kenyan President, Shane Simba, heard these complaints from his colleague in Tanzania, he eased matters by setting up a government post in the Serengeti specifically designed to aid the Tanzanian animals in their new business quests. It was attached to the Kenyan embassy and all animals in Tanzania could apply for free assistance. Betty Chimpo was asked by Bob Bushbuck, of the Masai Mara Daily, to cover the story. She flew to the Serengeti and stayed with Pete in his newly built estate in the bush.
Alexandra Simba is hosting an arts festival to be held between the civic center and the Lawrence Leoparde Memorial Arts Center. "Maurice, you must exhibit during the festival," she told me. "I hear you are a marvelous artist. I saw one of your works at the center the other day." "I haven’t had much time to paint and sculpt lately, Alex. We have been awfully busy," I responded. "Shane will have to fix that, Maury. We must have you exhibit." When I returned home that evening, I went to my studio and was preparing to do some work there. Lachlan came home and seeing what I was up to, shared his thoughts with me. "Thank goodness you’re going to use your talent again, Maury. It is a fine one." "Alexandra has asked me to exhibit in the festival of the arts that she’s planning," I told him, planting a welcoming kiss on his cheek. "Good for her and tell her to make sure the big boy knows that you need the time to do so."
Me with my latest works.....
Caitlin Cougar called Chris Simba and complained to him that his wife was still in the house on Leoparde Drive. "Johanna is late on the rent, Chris," griped Caitlin. "If she fails to pay, Caitlin, kick her out of there. There’s not much I can do now. I’m in the process of divorcing her and we’re not too friendly at the moment. Why don’t you rent a place in these apartments I live in? I have one in the new Lewis Lyon complex. They’re stunning." "I wanted a home atmosphere in a nice neighborhood, I have to get my daughter Georgy Simba back under my roof." "The Lewis Lyon group are not exactly slumming it, Caitlin. And I know of your daughter’s rising fame, she’s my niece, after all." Caitlin gasped. She had completely forgotten that Chris was Sloane’s half-brother. "I forget you’re Sloane’s half-brother. I never saw you at your mother’s brunches when I went with Sloane." "I can’t stand Mom’s cooking - too folksy and fattening. By the way, Mom thinks that Sloane is from the other male lion that also headed the Simba pride at that time. She says old Arthur had a mane like Sloane’s. She doesn’t think he is our father’s son. Those two old lionesses - Mom and Aunt Leander - don’t have enough to do. They need to get a life," chuckled Chris. "I read that Roy Lee has built your mother a huge mansion on Leoparde Drive, next door to his." "Yeah, he sure did that. More room for them to squabble. Aunt Leander will be living with Mom." "Is there an empty apartment in the new Lyon group?" inquired Caitlin. "Call Jerrilyn Jackal-Scar. She handles them."
Sarah Lee (r) with her sister, Leander, in Sarah's new mansion on Leoparde Drive..... And now we attend that scene, which is most interesting. Maude Lyon, with her faithful assistant, Tina Thompson-Gazelle Okapi, is trying to establish what drapes will suit Sarah Lee Simba. Three brand new sofas have been delivered to the new mansion on Leoparde Drive and Maude has the interior decoration account. She wishes otherwise. "Mrs. Simba, you need to identify a fabric that you would like for your drawing room drapes. I don’t have all day," grumbled Maude. Sarah Lee noticing the disdain in her fellow lioness’ voice, bristles slightly. She and her sister, Leander, are sitting side by side on one of the new and very cushy sofas. "Well, Mrs. Lyon, I have a right to take my time. After all it’s Roy Lee’s money and I don’t want to pick the wrong color," snarled Sarah Lee, who had no fondness for any members of the swollen headed Lyon pride. Maude cast yellow, smoldering eyes in Tina’s direction. The gazelle batted her lush eyelashes in a subtle signal to her boss to remain sanguine. Tina had to do this often while working with Maude. The aging lioness was still full of piss and vinegar. "Mrs. Lyon," chimed in Leander Simba, who being drunk was more amenable. "I think a good chintz garden pattern would be lovely." "Who’s house is this, Leander?" reared back Sarah Lee in complete haughtiness. Maude Lyon was more inclined toward Leander, figuring her for one Simba that had some couth. "I do believe your sister’s request for chintz is preferable over your love of velour and tacky satins. You have already requested Herculon sofas from CHANGING SPOTS which we simply DO NOT DO!!!!!" roared Maude. It can be said that the session ended with a certain amount of rancor.
Johanna Simba refused to remove herself from Caitlin Cougar Leo’s home. She paid the rent out of her own sizable pockets and was home free. This forced Caitlin into signing a lease with the Lewis Lyon Group. Her father, who was now living in the Mara, gifted his daughter with the full year’s rent up front. On a sunny Saturday, Caitlin moved herself and young son, Carly, into the three bedroom and very deluxe flat. The next step was to have her daughter, Georgy, join her there. This was rather simple. Georgy, adoring her father, but knowing him to be stricter than her mother and far less malleable, opted to move in with Caitlin. Here she would wage her battle to live with her cousin, Imani Lyon. In the interim, an always alert Chris Simba decided to take a freshly baked pound cake, purchased from the local patisserie, to Caitlin’s new pad. The two sat down with a slice, a martini, and smoking cigarettes fell into a compatible chat. That evening, since Georgy had not taken up residence at this point and her son was with his father, Chris stayed for a long time, finally escorting Caitlin to his own apartment where they promptly fell into bed after ordering and consuming pizza.
Leah Simba was so happily engaged in her work in the field of fashion inherited from and turned over by her mom, the fashion doyenne, Janice Jaguar Simba. Janice had decided that retirement was the answer to three young cubs at home and a more relaxed life with her husband, Roy Lee Simba. Janice had decided to concentrate any leftover career pangs to designing for her husband’s films and his studio. She could do that out of their elaborate home office on Leoparde Drive. Leah was so busy designing, trouble shooting and being a jack of all trades at JAGGERS she had not taken time to realize that her love life these days was nada. She had broken up with Trevor Tau and had been too overwhelmed with a new fashion season to find another male friend. She had just bought a new home in Mombassa and decided to call Jack Tarzan. He was in his office at the Masai Mara Daily when he answered her call. "Jack, how about going with me to Mombasa this weekend? I have just bought a house there and have not yet stepped in the door," she giggled. "I have a house there too, Leah. Between the two places, I think we can manage some fun. Which day?" "Friday evening okay with you, Jack?" "I’ll pick you up at your house then."
Jack Tarzan with Leah Simba in Mombasa.....
Pete Levin, the new and greatly harried lion president of Tanzania, sat stretched in a chaise lounge on his new patio in the Serengeti. "Why don’t you marry me?" he asked, stroking the leg of Betty Chimpo who was stretched next to him on another lounge chair. "Because, I feel that it would be totally disastrous, Pete. We would absolutely kill each other in time." "You are far too pessimistic. Don’t you have the desire to be the first lady of your own home country where you were born and bred?" "I hated every minute of first ladyship, Pete. I only managed it for Shane and I was a total flop at the job," she laughed. "I am far too self centered to excel at that job." "I am getting a lot of complaints from the animals here that we are letting too many animal owned companies out of Kenya come here. I am inundated with the Tanzanians bitching." "I don’t envy you but you are tough and resilient. If you want my advice, don’t try to mimic Shane. Do your own thing in your own style. You are very unique, Pete." "But not unique enough for you to marry, huh?" "Stop it!"
Betty with Pete, the new President of Tanzania..... Later, Betty placed a call to Jack Tarzan on his cell phone. "Where are you, I miss you?" she asked gaily. "Here with Leah Simba in Mombasa. Why don’t you join us?" he asked, with no coyness at all. "No, I won’t spoil your fun," she replied, the gloom apparent in her voice. "Come on, Betty, you know better than that. I would love for you to be here." "I’ll see you when I get back to the Mara, Jack." She rang off quickly, fearing she would cry and he would hear. |
